I would like to offer my sincere apologies to the regime and the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran!

Hey there everyone, or maybe no one since I am not sure if anyone is even aware of this blog existing. And yes, I know that I am not exactly making it more likely that people will find out about it, and maybe even start reading my posts, when I just go AWOL for three months. Let’s just say that these have been a very busy couple of months, which have included two broken limbs.
That’s just part of the explanation though, the other is me being lazy and an expert at procrastinating. I’ll be making another attempt at adding new material on a more consistent basis, but regardless of whether I’ll manage or not, I am quite sure that planet Earth will keep on spinning either way.
What is the reason for me feeling a need to apologize to Iran?
To get straight to the point, I had previously published three posts on this blog where I was being critical of the Iranian regime. That just popped up in my mind when I woke up this morning, so I therefore felt the need to quickly log in here and publish this article. However, I also noticed that the three articles previously mentioned had already been deleted by yours truly.
Now, to be fair, despite the fact that I do no longer agree with what was written in those articles, I do also not think that deleting previously published content is the right thing to do. In the very unlikely scenario that any followers of The Viking Observer noticed me doing this, since I am not sure that I have any, then I therefore also owe an apology to them. It is not going to happen again, and not only because of it going against what I believe to be the right thing to do.
I was a hypocrite by doing something which I am quick to criticize others about
Despite me not thinking it is right to delete old posts just because you no longer agree with what was written in them, I am at the same time pretty relieved that the deleted ones are gone. This is because I committed one of the cardinal sins of free speech and my own principles when writing them, meaning that I wrote them despite not agreeing with what I was writing.
To my only defense, I wrote them back when the Iranian regime was rumored to have slaughtered 30-100 000 innocent protesters. However, the main reason was me being a coward by feeling like I had to balance my portrayed political views a bit by condemning Iran since I have and continue to be extremely critical of Israel. I did this after receiving some backlash from a few associates. Nothing serious whatsoever, just some criticism.
I really don’t know how on Earth I was thinking back then, or if I might have been depressed or similar, because why the f**k did I care about that? I have the right to my own opinions, just like everyone else do. And if someone don’t agree with mine; no problem, let’s debate. The antisemite-card does not work anymore, the Zionists have long ago made the term lose any of the significance it may once have had by misusing the term for decades.
Anyway, by writing the anti-Iran posts, I acted just like the brainwashed and racist pro-Israel supporters and the millions of sheeple worldwide still prioritizing being politically correct and pro-woke over more or less anything else. To me, that is deeply embarrasing, and it is something that I promise both any eventual reader as well as myself to never, ever repeat again!
What I actually think about Iran
Embarrasingly enough, these are the titles that I had chosen for the three posts where I was criticizing Iran:
- Why are most leftists so silent about Iran?
- Some quick thoughts about the killing of Ayatollah Khamenei
- The Iranian regime is pure evil
When claiming that the left is silent about Iran, I was referring to them not criticizing Iran, which in my then twisted way of thinking made them hypocrites. I can’t believe how I could sink so low that I spew out that type of nonsensical trash! God knows that I haven’t always seen eye to eye with at least the radical-left over the years, but when it comes to Iran, I have the same stance as them.
To be more precise, this is what I think about Iran: Being the only country in the whole world having the courage and the will to stand up to the Israeli terror regime, the Iranian regime and the population of the country have nothing but my full admiration! I wish more countries worldwide would follow suit and join them in the war against the Zionists and their puppets in the US-government.
Regarding my thoughts about the killing of Ayatollah Khamenei, I believe that it was yet another war crime committed by the Israeli terror-regime and their shadow government controlling the United States. You do not target other countries leaders like that in such cowardly attacks in which several other people, including women and children, were also killed. And who knows, since Ayatollah Khamenei was 86 years old and suffered from severe health issues, maybe he even sacrificed himself as a martyr to unite the Iranian people?
Furthermore, all the talk about him being one of the most evil men throughout history is most likely pure nonsense, and yet another PR-campaign by the Zionist baby killers, in order to brainwash the masses. I remember finding it very suspicious that the so called “brutal crackdown” against the anti-government protesters, with Zionist-controlled media being quick to report about extremely high casualty rates, happened when it did.
What I am referring to is the fact that it gave Israel and Trump the opportunity to make the bizarre claim that they were the heroes trying to save the Iranian people. As if that was not enough, the former CIA director Mike Pompeo is just one of many high profile figures claiming that Israel instigated the protests through Mossad-agents hiding among the protesters.
If anything, the fact that several million people attended Khamenei’s funeral suggests that he was deeply loved and respected by most of the Iranian population as well as having even more millions of supporters spread across the globe.
So no, the Iranian regime is not pure evil! Me having claimed something that foolish is truly embarrassing, especially when it is so very obvious that there is only one true terror-regime in the Middle East. That is the same regime that attacked six of its neighboring states in 2025, is continuing its campaign of ethnic cleansing aimed at the Palestinian people and is lead by a criminal wanted by the ICC!
Edit: I also take back and apologize for any other negative comments that I might have made about the Iranian regime in other posts! 🙏🙏🙏
